Lab Facilities

This Lab features a wide range of advanced and modern professional equipment for both education and research purposes. Please see the list of equipment available in our lab below:

Signal Processing & Communications

  • High-speed digital oscilloscopes (Tektronix, Keysight, up to 6 GHz bandwidth)
  • Spectrum analyzers (up to 26.5 GHz, Keysight N9000A, Rohde & Schwarz)
  • Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) – Keysight E5071C, 9 kHz to 20 GHz
  • RF Signal Generators (up to 20 GHz, including arbitrary waveform generation)
  • Software Defined Radios (NI USRP-2945R, Ettus B210)
  • Anechoic RF test chamber (portable or fixed, up to 18 GHz)
  • Antenna characterization turntable system
  • Power meters and RF sensors (thermal and diode sensors)

  • FLIR thermal imaging camera (320×256 or better, cooled InSb or MCT detector)
  • Basler/Allied Vision high frame-rate cameras (up to 1,200 fps)
  • Machine vision lighting and optics kits
  • 3D stereoscopic vision system (ZED or Intel RealSense based)
  • High-speed frame grabbers and image processing servers

Embedded Systems & Control

  • ARM Cortex-M / RISC-V microcontroller kits (STM32, SiFive, TI)
  • FPGA development boards (Xilinx Zynq-7000, Altera Cyclone V, Intel MAX10)
  • Real-time control systems – dSPACE MicroLabBox, Speedgoat, or NI CompactRIO
  • Power supplies (programmable DC sources, e.g. Keysight 6645A)
  • Function generators (20 MHz–100 MHz)
  • Logic analyzers (e.g., Saleae Logic Pro)
